The CEAS was introduced in 2015Open to Members and Non Yoga Persons

The CEAS, or continuing Education Accredited School) designation is designed for experts in the yoga community to set themselves apart and teach courses that qualify as continuing education hours for RYTs or non-yoga persons.

By becoming a CEAS, you can offer online, in-person training,retreats/seminars and workshops, recognised worldwide that will enable graduates to be listed on the Yoga Alliance European Registry as an Associate Yoga Student 

This designation is inclusive of additional specialty designations RCYS, RPYS, RYS YIN 50


Who can Apply

  1.  RYT 500, 500 PLUS, 1500 and, ERYT any level, who is currently registered with YAER or; 
  2. Non Yoga Person-An individual who has a relevant degree, certification or substantial education or experience plus 1500 hours of teaching experience in the subject that he or she will teach which must be related to yoga disciplines.

To deliver Specialty training courses RCYT, RPYT, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, RYT YIN 50 or RYT YIN100 hour, teachers must be a qualified  Specialty training teacher.


Type of Training eligible for accreditation

  1. Specialty courses.
  2. Non Specialty courses.
  3. CE courses cannot exceed 100 hours.
  4. CE training courses can be integrated into an existing yoga teacher qualification to upgrade to a higher-membership levels.

  3. The CEAS offer the opportunity to deliver training courses to non yoga persons who are simply curious about the various aspects of yoga or who work in a professional capacity and are interested to offer Children's Yoga, Prenatal Yoga or Trauma Sensitive Yoga.  

  4.  Any non yoga person completing a CEAS training program will benefit of networking opportunities and more exposure with a listing  as an Associate Yoga Student on the YAER Registry.

  1. Specialty courses, a 250 words maximum program (s) description (title and concise description) number of contact and non-contact hours and format i.e. in-house training.

  2. Non-Specialty courses, a 150 words maximum program (s) description (title and concise description) i.e. seminar/in-house training/workshop/retreat.

  3. Copy Student’s certificate of training completion (the certificate students will receive at the end of the course).
