Become a Member

Requirements

The Yoga Alliance European Registry accept ALL yoga teacher graduates onto its registry regardless of whether they’ve attended an approved training school or not, as long as the training matches up to its pre-decided standards.

You can join us in four ways: 

  • as a RYT/ERYT/MASTER/EXPERT TEACHER
  • as a RYS
  • as a CEAS
  • as a ASSOCIATE YOGA STUDENT

Membership Requirements

A Yoga teacher that has 250 hour or higher Yoga Training/YogaTherapy  qualification from a registered or non-registered Yoga Alliance European Registry school. Additional training does not have to be from the same school. Specialty training courses RCYT, RPYT and RYT YIN must be completed with a qualified teacher in the field of Prenatal Yoga, Children's Yoga and YIN Yoga.

What You Need for Your Application

  • Your certificate of 250 hour training completion from a registered or non-registered Yoga Alliance European Registry School 
  • The start and end date of your training 
  • A credit card or PayPal account to pay applicable fees
Note: Italian teachers and schools can access the Registry FREE of charge if they are a member of  Yoga Alliance International Italia

How to Apply

  • Create an account to Join in
  • Submitting a certificate of training completion and additional documents where required
  • Once your request is confirmed, pay your fees and you can download the certificate of registration, invoice and download your designation logo.

Membership Requirements

  • A Non-Yoga Person that works in a professional capacity as a counselors, occupational therapists, social workers, school teachers, midwife, obstetrician or maternal child health nurse that has minimum 50 hours Children's/Prenatal from the YA-International CEAS (Continuing Education Accredited School) or a non-registered YA-International yoga school. *Children’s/Prenatal Yoga Training must be done with a RPYT/RCYT qualified teacher.
  • A Student of a Teacher Training aiming to build a 250 hour or higher Yoga Teaching pathway who has completed minimum 50 hours or higher training in any yoga subject including RCYT/RPYT/RYT YIN 50/100 hours with the YAER's CEAS, or (Continuing Education Accredited School) or a non-registered YAER yoga school. *Yoga Teaching pathway first 200 hour MUST be completed with the same yoga school

What You Need for Your Application

  • Yoga Students: A letterhead signed by the training school stating that you are a trainee/student of a teacher training.
  • Non Yoga Person: *Evidence of qualification (s) in field of expertise and/or a RCYT/RPYT/RYT YIN 50 or 100 hours from a registered or non-registered Yoga Alliance European Registry school
  • The start and end date of your training
  • A credit card or PayPal account to pay applicable fees

How to Apply

  • Create an account
  • Submitting a Program Confirmation Request to the RYS where you took your training.
  • Once your request is confirmed, pay your fees and you can download the certificate of registration,invoice and download your designation logo.

Membership Criteria

The Yoga Alliance European Registry Standards system is to include a school in the RYS (Registered Yoga School) online Registry only when its Yoga Teacher Training curriculum of study meet its high set of standards.

What You Need for Your Application

To register as a RYS (Registered Yoga School) all new schools must submit their syllabus with their application. The YTT syllabus must meet or exceeds the YAER. To find out  about this this requirement see here

Applicants must attach to the online application form the RYS’s Owners Statement or the application will be declined.

Membership Criteria

The CEAS designation is designed for experts in the yoga community to set themselves apart and teach high quality training recognised wolrdwide that qualify as Continuing Education hours for RYTs or non-Yoga Persons.

By becoming a CEAS, you can offer online/in-house training/retreats/seminars/workshops, recognised worldwide that entitles graduates to be listed on the Yoga Alliance European Registry.

A RYT or ERYT and and Expert Teacher (a different designation from ERYT) is eligible to become a CEAS. Members with any ERYT and only certain RYT designation are per-qualified to become a CEAS.

This designation is inclusive of additional Specialty designations RCYS/RPYS/RYS YIN 50/100.

This is a unique opportunity for members with extensive training and teaching experience to share their knowledge and reach new students through the first and only directory of yoga CE Providers.
